Dust devil: Footage shows the whirlwind blowing in County Durham

A dust devil has been spotted in a field following a wildfire in County Durham.

The whirlwind was spinning through a rural area in northeast England and filmed by the County Durham & Darlington Fire & Rescue on Thursday.

Dust devils usually happen when it is very warm, so it is not common to encounter the weather phenomenon in the UK.
