Live: New Zealand's best music honoured at Taite Music Awards

Tonight is the Taite Music Awards, honouring the best in New Zealand music.

This year's winner of the Taite Music Prize from among 10 finalist albums will receive $12,500.

Also being honoured are the Auckland Live Best Independent Debut Award, the NZ On Air Outstanding Music Journalism Award and the IMNZ Classic Record going to Flying Nun's Look Blue Go Purple for their 1991 Compilation.

The ceremony kicks off with red carpet action at 6pm, a live performance by last year's winner Princess Chelsea and much more. RNZ's music and entertainment team are there live to bring you all the highlights.
